A Midsummer Night's Dream

A self-produced outdoor staging of A Midsummer Night’s Dream reimagined through the lens of 1970s Woodstock culture, featuring a semi gender-bent approach in which romantic pairings were reconfigured to explore fluidity in love and identity. Set in a backyard transformed into a psychedelic forest, the production blended live music, natural textures, and vibrant, free-spirited design. As scenographer, I designed both costumes and scenery, creating a cohesive visual world inspired by festival fashion and earthy materials. Performed for two intimate audiences, the piece emphasized community, accessibility, and the evolving nature of connection.
